Assembly & Inflation
How to inflate
- Lay the Water Blob® flat on a smooth surface free of debris.
- Inflate using a leaf blower or a shop vac with a two-way switch. A 6.5 horsepower shop vac is recommended — that’s what we use.
- Takes about 10–15 minutes to inflate.
- Inflate to ½ to ¾ full of air.
- Slowly guide into the water while ensuring no sharp objects are underneath.
- Run anchor straps in a criss‑cross pattern underneath the blob — this keeps it steady and prevents it from shifting or rolling during use.
- Anchor using shock cord and one 50‑pound concrete bucket per anchor point. Crisscross the anchor points.
Recommended air pumps
- Leaf blower
- Shop vac with a two-way switch (6.5 horsepower recommended)
